NOT A FAKE

She is not a fake

She is just who she is.

A very disturbing puzzle

An insanely predictable mystery

with layers beyond infinity.

I know her only as

the girl who will do anything

to hide from all the blur.

And the conscious eyes

that probe her very being.

She is just as sad as you,

when you think of the love

You once lost and thought you knew.

But she is not bitter.

And she carries a sweetness with her

that will make you

love her even more.

She does not leave.

Of this I am certain.

She knows the agony

She knows the hurt.

So if you leave her,

She’d probably just say,

“I’m wet. Might as well enjoy the rain.”

I know all to well… the pain.
